‘Pr. K J Kuriakose is a dedicated and passionate pastor with a profound spiritual journey. He embraced the Lord Jesus as his personal Savior and was baptized by immersion in 1971. The Holy Spirit baptism further deepened his commitment to the Lord, preparing him to obey the Lord’s call on his life, thereby, dedicating his life to serving the Lord in 1976.
Pr. Kuriakose has a strong educational background in the secular, theological and Christian ministry fields. Along with the postgraduate studies in English Literature, He also holds a Graduate degree in Theology from New Life Bible College, Varanasi, and a Bachelor of Divinity from United Theological College, Bangalore. He further pursued a Master of Theology with a specialization in preaching from the same institution. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Skills for the 21st Century from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, with only the thesis work remaining.
With a rich ministerial experience spanning several decades, Pr. Kuriakose has served in various capacities. He has been a Bible teacher, church planter, and an evangelist, making significant impacts through his work with New Life League and New Life Bible College in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh and other North Indian states. He had also served as a staff worker for Inter Collegiate Prayer Fellowship (ICPF) for five years in Kerala. Returning back to North India and being based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, he worked with Bharat Susamachar Samiti, The New Theological College and Christian Evangelistic Assemblies and held positions such as Field Coordinator, Associate professor, campus pastor and Director of Pastoral Affairs and President of the CEA churches .
Pr. Kuriakose’s dedication to ministry extends beyond India. He has served as a pastor and president in churches like First India Pentecostal Church in OKC, OK, Calvary Pentecostal Church in Richardson, TX, India Christian Assembly of New Jersey (ICANJ) in Hackensack, NJ.
With a heart for missions and a passion for preaching, pastoral care, counselling, and developing the next generation of leaders, Pr. Kuriakose has made a significant impact so far, on the lives of many people from all walks of life. His ministry is characterised by a deep commitment to spreading the Gospel, planting churches and nurturing spiritual growth and equipping the body of Christ.
Pr. Kuriakose currently serves as the pastor and president of IPC Lakeland, Florida, along with his wife Aleyamma (Molamma). They are blessed with two children: Solomon Kuriakose (married to Susha), based in Doha, Qatar and Saumya, based in Dallas, TX.
