Her Heart, Her World, His Purpose
Mpact Girls at our church is led by female leaders who desire to provide a safe place for girls to learn about God and share with each other. Middle school and high school are crucial times in a female’s life in which she discovers her identity, makes friends who influence their worldview and learns to navigate through the various pressures from friends and the media. As time passes, technology and media are advancing and becoming easier to access. We live in a world where pressures can lead to deceitful behaviors and actions in secret at a touch of a button. It is during these moments that feeling God’s love through the Bible and a community of faith becomes crucial.In the past the girls have gone through several series such as women in the Bible and fruits of the Spirit and several books including: “Crazy Love: Overwhelmed by a Relentless God” by Francis Chan and Chris Tomlin, “Lady in Waiting: Becoming God’s Best While Waiting for Mr. Right” by Jackie Kendall and Debby Jones, and “Jesus Is: Find a New Way to Be Human” by Judah Smith and Bubba Watson.Wednesdays @ 7 PM
